巫帚星云NGC6960
APOD新年第一张图是巫帚星云，这是一张很老的图了，话说一万年前，人类有记录的历史还没开始，天空某处突现闪光，数周后消失。这是来自爆发的恒星的光，它留下现在人类能探测到的彩色的扩张着的面纱星云。照片是面纱星云最西边的部分NGC6960，通俗的名字叫巫帚星云。这个超新星遗迹在1400光年远，天鹅座，张角有三个满月那么大。图中最亮的恒星天鹅座52与这个超新星遗迹无关。
